The Node – Terms & Conditions
As a member of The Node, we want you to enjoy your time with us and experience a creative environment. For everyone’s safety and well-being, these Terms & Conditions apply to all use of and access to The Node. By signing, the User confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these legally binding terms.
1. General
All premises, equipment, furniture and property belong to The Node and must be treated with care. The Node is a smoke-free and drug-free environment. Visitors under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or behaving inappropriately, may be denied entry.
Prohibited conduct includes:
• Illegal activities involving The Node’s premises, digital infrastructure, community or platforms.
• Intentional damage to property.
• Unethical behaviour or actions intended to harm others.
Food & Beverage:
• No food, drinks in open containers or alcohol in studios, rehearsal rooms or production rooms.
• Food is not permitted in meeting rooms unless approved by staff. Coffee, fruit and light refreshments are allowed.
• Alcohol is only permitted for booked private events.
• In lounges and kitchens, food and drinks are allowed. Shared kitchen facilities must be kept clean.
• In the restaurant, bar and event spaces, only food and beverages sold or provided by The Node may be consumed.
Violation of these rules may result in temporary suspension or immediate termination of membership.
2. Access
Access requires a personal access link or key tag. Visitors must register at reception upon arrival and departure. Key tags must be handled according to staff instructions and returned when requested.
3. Liability
The User is fully responsible for loss or damage to rooms, equipment and property used by them or their guests. Damage or faults must be reported immediately.
4. Membership
Membership is available to individuals aged 18 or over who have no outstanding debts to The Node and have not previously been banned. Membership is personal, non-transferable and continues after any minimum commitment period until terminated. Members may upgrade at any time. Availability of rooms and services cannot be guaranteed. Security cameras (without audio) operate in studios and meeting rooms. Student and corporate memberships are subject to eligibility requirements. The Node reserves the right to amend promotional offers. Members may receive discounts and partner offers depending on membership level.
5. Fees
Members pay monthly membership fees and any applicable registration or service charges. Payments must be made on time. Late payments may incur reminder fees, collection costs and statutory interest. Membership fees are fixed during any agreed commitment period unless the member changes membership or a promotional discount expires.
6. Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with The Node’s Privacy Policy. Membership communications are primarily sent by email.
7. Storage & Theft
Where lockers are provided, items are stored at the member’s own risk. The Node is not liable for theft or loss of personal belongings.
8. Limitation of Liability & Governing Law
The Node is not liable for events outside its reasonable control (Force Majeure). These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes should first be resolved amicably and may thereafter be referred to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes or the courts.
